The Guerard System or RwRR (Read it-wRite it-Remember it) Is the ‘icing on the cake’ when helping learners of all ages overcome the common areas of difficulty/failure encountered when learning a language based on a deep orthography, in this case English. This revolutionary system provides educators with the long-awaited consistent strategy, which can be exploited throughout the school day as and when learners expect instant help with encoding and decoding.
It will keep all learners motivated, interested and involved.
The Guerard System offers a new and refreshing perspective on mastering the mechanics of our English language. It is not presented as a scheme of work, which has to be rigidly adhered to. It will help put learners back on track quickly and successfully whenever confidence and ability has taken a knock. It can therefore be introduced at any stage of language development regardless of methods a learner has been familiar with up to that point.
